What does not kill us, Makes us Stronger!

Several years back, we started on this lonely path of dealing with food allergies when my older son was born. Unlike all children his age, he was kept away from most birthday parties, playgrounds and several such places, just to keep him safe and alive. I am an Architect and worked as a Shipping Analyst for several years, before giving it all up to take care of my son with multiple food allergies.

Unlike food intolerance, food allergies are far more serious, even fatal. Several million parents of children with food allergies live in constant fear, anxiety and work endlessly and tirelessly to keep their children safe.

I am a firm believer that no child should ever be excluded from anything, most of all food. This small venture is in hopes of helping several other parents likes us to overcome this barrier. Whether you are a parent or not, whether dealing with food allergies or not, this step is to bridge the gap and to support many like us.

Hope is a very potent word. And while I do endlessly hope for there to be a cure for food allergies, until then I will continue to do what all moms do- do what’s best for our children.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you to my labor of love, and an insight into a journey of our struggles and our small steps towards acceptance, via Karmic Foods.

A warm welcome to you all from us at Karmic Foods- a dedicated blog for the Allergy life.
